5 1/4-inch Refracting Planetarium Telescope, early 20th century, 62-in. brass main tube with dual pulleys, ocular end with manual rotating chrome-plated outer disc with a scale divided 0-70, stepped inner disc with 1/12th scale divided 0-6, rack-and-pinion single-draw focusing, objective end with cast iron housing with brass rotating mirror plate (lacking mirror), and pulley, overall lg. 99 in. Note: According to the consignor, this came from a Newport, Rhode Island, estate.
