Five Georgian Sterling Silver Meat Skewers, late 18th/early 19th century, various makers and engraved monograms or armorials, three Chester, lg. to 13 7/8, one lacking date and town mark, possibly Exeter, lg. 10 1/2, and the fifth Irish, lg. 11 3/4 in., approx. 12.0 troy oz. total. Estimate $200-400 Each with surface wear abrasions, worn tips of skewers. One with tapered hole to terminal bent slightly in center. Another with wide hole to terminal with wear to engraving and some deeper abrasions.
