William IV Sterling Silver Standish, Birmingham 1834-35, Robinson, Edkins & Aston, maker, with a central taperstick and silver-mounted glass inkwell and pounce pot, lg. 13 1/4 in., approx. 31.6 troy oz. (not including glass). Estimate $800-1,200 Bobeche and snuffer to chamberstick different date/maker's marks (probably later replacement, chamberstick's hallmarks are consistent with rest of the set). Light surface wear. Glass with a few very minor nicks along edge (one with strawline to interior, flaw in the manufacture).
