Victorian Brass-inlaid Writing Box, England, mid-19th century, rectangular, with arabesque decoration, interior with mirror over short drawers and a fold-down velvet-inlaid writing surface, closed ht. 9, wd. 21 3/4, dp. 11 3/4 in. Estimate $800-1,200 Good condition. Minor damage to brass inlay and edges, begining of separation to the baize writing surface.
