Continental Burlwood Stein, probably Germany or Netherlands, 19th century, carved lion atop an auricular handle joining cylindrical vessel with hinged lid, bearing a lion motif and inscribed "1828 A. P.S.F.," ht. 8 1/2, wd. 7, dp. 5 in. Estimate $400-600 Natural crack to body and under base. No evidence of any damages or restorations.
