After Lady Butler (English, ). "Scotland for Ever! The Charge of the Scots Greys and Waterloo", black and white photogravure. After the original painting date 1881, photogravure depicts the start of the charge of the Royal Scots Greys, a British cavalry regiment that charged alongside the British heavy cavalry at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. Soldiers on horseback charge at full speed with swords drawn over uneven muddy ground. Framed approximately 25.25" x 36", sight size approximately 17.25" x 28".
