Four Embroidered Mandarin Rank Badges, China, 19th and 20th century, one with a flycatcher; a set of two badges with appliqued quail and a beaded sun; and one with a pheasant, all with metal threads, to 11 x 11 in. Estimate $300-500 all with loose threads, flycatcher missing most beads for the sun, pheasant with tears and holes, back badge of quail with unstitched bird, all discolored and faded with traces of water damage.
