Signed "GJ Barnes" l.r., titled on a presentation plaque, with a canvas stencil from Arthur Rayner, Tottenham Court Road, London, on the reverse. Oil on canvas, 36 x 28 in., framed. Condition: Paint loss with retouch at l.c., craquelure, varnish discoloration, surface grime. Estimate $200-400 Presentation plaque is abraded, and the title is barely readable, the artist's name is no longer legible. The paint losses measures 1/2 x 1/4 inch.
