Six Transfer-decorated Ceramic Alphabet Plates, England, 19th century, including a C. A. & Sons and an Elsmore & Sons, dia. to 8 1/4 in. Estimate $150-250 crazing and discoloration to most, one with chips to the underside, green transfer-decorated with flakes and abrasions, one with smoking man with large pits and staining, and loss to the red-bordered plate.
