Paint-decorated Parcheesi Board, America, late 19th century, precisely painted in six colors with stars at the corners and as the home square, and playing surface delineated in yellow, (shrinkage crack), 18 1/4 x 18 1/4 in. Provenance: A private Massachusetts collection. Estimate $4,000-6,000 There are minor specks of loss and some faint hints of very minor retouch, but the surface is overall in great condition. It has separation between the two boards of which it is made up, of about 1/8 of an inch.
