Polychrome Paint-decorated Double-sided Game Board, America, late 19th century, in six colors, the corner blocks each with quarter-round spandrels centering stencils, and kaleidoscopic home square, the design laid out with the precise geometry of a draftsman, and bordered with yellow pinstriping and floral corners, the reverse with a checkerboard in salmon and olive green checkerboard and similar bordering, 20 x 19 3/4 in. , framed. Provenance: Allan Katz Americana, Woodbridge, Connecticut and Tim and Charline Chambers, Sikeston, Missouri, to a private Massachusetts collection.
