Scrimshaw Whale's Tooth Decorated with a Portrait of a Woman, attributed to Manuel Enos, mid-19th century, large curved tooth decorated with an image of a woman in a flowing gown standing on a carpet with red floral decoration, likely unfinished, ht. 6 1/2 in. Note: Manuel Enos was a Long Island whaleman. A similar tooth, from the Mittler Collection, was sold at Eldred's on October 15, 2016, Lot 33.
