Classical Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Extension Table, John Burt, Boston, c. 1820-30, the circular top extends with accordion action to accommodate four 21-in. and two 10 1/2-in. leaves, still in their original red-painted case stamped "JOHN BURT," on a columnar post and quatrefoil pedestal base on casters, old refinish, (imperfections), ht. 29, dia. 48 in. Estimate $1,500-2,500 top sun-lightened, veneer cracking and patching to skirt and especially to base, base with other roughness.
