20th century. An African Senofu style firespitter helmet mask of carved and polychromed wood. Mask with bovine face having forward and backward facing tusk forms on a domed head, with open jaws revealing jagged teeth, with ovular ears and cup form atop head with lizard reaching to it from back surface of structure, with long braided straw affixed to collar. 41" tall x12" wide x 16" deep.
