George II Irish Silver Card Tray, Dublin, 1745-46, indistinct maker's mark, lacking Hibernia, with a shell and scroll rim and engraved floral motif to interior, dia. 7 1/2 in., approx. 9.5 troy oz. Estimate $400-600 Center surface medallion strengthened (applied silver to reverse probably from older engraving removal). Two feet repaired or reworked at joint. Otherwise light surface wear.
