Pair of Continental Capo di Monte-style Dishes, probably Dresden, 19th century, each round with white ground, polychrome decoration, and gilt highlights, one depicting a scene of mermen and mermaids, the other maidens in an architectural landscape, each with blue "N" and crown mark to verso, dia. 11 5/8 in. Estimate $400-600 Each with scattered gilt border design and rim wear; one with sizable chips to the back footrim.
