Continental Painted Tin Alms Box, possibly Germany, late 17th/early 18th century, shaped top over hinged lid with latch over curvate case with crest motif on the side, chainmail insert in interior, ht. 6, wd. 6 3/4, dp. 3 1/2 in. Estimate $300-500 Overall age-typical wear to surfaces. Chain mail is later addition.
