Empire Ormolu Plateau, France, first half 19th century, in the manner of Pierre-Philippe Thomire (1751-1843), circular cast gallery encircling a mirrored surface, highlighted by three floral bouquet-topped vessels over swans and winged nymphs, ht. 10 1/4, dia. 26 1/2 in. Estimate $3,000-5,000 Age typical overall light abrasions. Mirror with heavy scratches. Two interior areas with green appear to be remnants of candle wax.
