This work was designed by Koons for a ballet and was intended to be worn. Although not the original intent, it is possible to inflate the work as a sculpture without a person. The work comprises the costume element, motors and electrical cables. All motorized elements are functional and need to be operating in order to maintain the inflation of the costume. Costume with minor soiling and wear throughout. Some minor losses to the painted terminals of the figure’s feet and associated soiling. Work is sold with directions for properly inflating the costume, and original carrying case. Sold with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. 1988-1989
