Volkstedt Porcelain (German, 1760- ). A large porcelain sculpture depicting a beautiful young lady seated in a green tufted upholstered wooden chair wearing ornate dress of gilt pink lace over yellow with black floral patterning, with an overcoat of cobalt blue having Dresden style lace cuffs, collar, and trip, with colorful plumes in the woman's hair and an open music book on her lap. Blue underglaze mark to underside, the mark used after 1945. Approximately 11 7/8" tall x 10.25" wide x 8" deep.
