After Nathaniel Sichel (German, 1843-1907). "A Vestal Virgin", lithograph on paper, signed within matrix lower right "N. Sichel", image originally published by Coes Wrenches as a part of their souvenir calendar in 1908 with a limited edition issued later that year without the calendar and sent to interested parties at the cost of $0.40. Print depicts a young beauty at center at hip length with classical draped robing, her right arm placed delicately atop her head and left arm holding an oil pot, the beautiful woman with large blue eyes and dark flowing hair. Printed to verso of print "Duplicates of this picture may be obtained from the Coes Wrench Co., Worcester, Mass, by sending 50c. to cover cost and mailing". Framed approximately 33.625" x 25.75", sheet size approximately 29.5" x 20".
