Lacquered finish with some subtle craquelure, touch-ups, and small nicks to high points and corners.
Two identical drill holes (near base of one leg, each measure 0.5 dia inches) filled and restored, from previous placement of clip hardware. This work does not currently light up and is missing the original neon elements and one clip hardware element. Wiring for previous neon elements is exposed and this work will require professional repair. A transformer and cord/plug for connecting to a wall outlet are present.
Carved signature and date to verso ‘Castle 96’. This work is registered with the artist's studio as number 1097.
