Not examined out of frame. Full sheet visible. Generally good condition. Some minor lifting to collaged elements of composition. Small crescent shaped tear along extreme lower left edge of sheet- this appears to have been stabilized. There is some associated discoloration in this area, as well as in a few other areas along edges. A few soft creases to sheet in off-white colored portion above black rectangle, which seem likely the result of the artist's process. Framed behind acrylic measuring 20 x 16 inches. Signed and dated to lower right '39-8 Gertrude Greene'. 1939
collage and pencil on paper
