English, 19th century. Mahogany wood one drawer stand (originally a slant top desk and later converted) with angled top with two bands of inlaid border above a pull out drawer with matching inlay and ivory diamond form escutcheon with metal round hardware pulls, brass rimmed apron, stand or table on four tapered wood legs. Lock stamped with "SECURE LEVER" and "WARRANTED HANDMADE". Approximate height 29.75", width 27", depth 19.125".
