Majolica figural smoking stand with seated young African American boy in pale yellow glazed long sleeved shirt and with blue trousers with red cross strap sitting on a wood log or tree trunk and holding a hat. Log with two wells and hat with niche for storing smoking objects such as cigarettes, matches or cigars. Marked on bottom with impressed pattern #2396 and maker's mark. Approximate height 7.5", width 7.5", depth 5".
