Sculpture: Overall good condition with some minor wear throughout and a tiny fleck to one corner of base on underside. Covered bowl: Overall good vintage condition. Medium patina with some possible cleaning. General minor wear to copper. Enameled peacock is intact. Minor loss to enamel on inner rim of bowl. Box measures: 6.75 dia x 2.5 h inches.
Lot is comprised of a sculpture of a mother and child by Preston L. Prescott and a covered box with peacock decoration by the Boston School. Carved signature to sculpture ‘Preston L. Prescott’. patinated copper, enamel, copper-clad earthenware
