A square sterling silver cigarette case with etched diamond patterned surface and ovoid enamel medallion to case front with erotic period female clutching her nude breast with one hand and holding a rose to her laid back face with the other and a silken robe fallen off her shoulders, the hinged case opening to reveal two gold vermeil compartments. Marked to interior of cover panel with maker's mark beside standard mark, city mark for Birmingham, and date mark for 1927, marked to interior of back panel with matching standard and date marks. Inscription to interior of cover "From Mother & Father Sept. 7th 1928". Approximately 3.375" square.
