Moroccan, 20th century. A petite wooden hand painted polychrome table of octagonal form, the top decorated with an Islamic starburst in shades of red, tan, olive green, and gilding with black tracery framed by olive green and red stepped moldings surmounted by a yellow and black striped decorative molding over a thick black painted outer molding, all surmounting the conforming octagonal base comprising eight panels each painted with decorative painted pale yellow strapwork, flowers in shades of pink and blue, orange foliate motifs, all on a green ground framed by pale yellow borders, each panel with an Islamic architectural arch cutout, each curved arch side terminating in table legs. Approximate height 17.5", width (widest point of top) 18.5".
