Michael Nowack art pottery vase; measures approximately 8-1/4" high and 5-1/4" in diameter. Marked "Michael nowack, callicoon, new york, oct. 1983" to the bottom. With hairline. Arizona ceramic artist Michael Nowack has been making pottery since 1970. He studied for a BFA at the University of Wisconsin and specialized in Ancient Chinese glaze formulas. Nowack has been involved in the design and development of two shops and studios in New York and New England, and has participated in numerous exhibitions.
