Metallic frame measures 15-1/2” in height by 19-1/4” in width with the sight image measuring 8-3/4” in height by 10-1/4” in width. All measurementsare approximate. In overall good condition. Peter Hurd (American, 1904-1984) was an American painter who lived and worked in San Patricio, New Mexico. He is equally acclaimed for his western landscapes and his portraits. He studied under the famous illustrator NC Wyeth and was married to Wyeth’s eldest daughter, Henriette Wyeth, also an accomplished painter.
