French Ormolu-mounted and White Marble Lyre Mantel Clock, c. 1830, oriental-inspired parasol finial engages the ropetwist lyre-form frame, surrounding the 6 3/4-in. convex roman numeral porcelain dial with beaded outer edge and engine-turned inner edge, finley pierced, and engraved gilt hands, all resting on a stepped marble base with beaded edges, and pierced central band, on eight simple bun feet, eight-day time and count wheel strike mechanism with silk thread suspension, ht. 22 in.
