First edition, with matching dates on title and copyright pages. 8vo, original black cloth, white titling on spine, some light spotting to boards; dust jacket a bit toned, tips of spine chipped affecting the title and spine imprint; chipping to spine ends, top edge and corners, but the front flap bears the original price, "8s. 6d. net". The first volume in White's tetralogy, The Once And Future King.
