early 20th century cast to show a reclining putto holding the reins to a swan among foliage, the scroll base hung with foliate garlands. Height 11 1/2 x width 14 1/2 inches. Each in decent, stable condition overall. Hanging foliate swags slightly loose. Dent and minor split to the bronze on the stepped base of one chenet. Surface wear in the form of scratches and nicks throughout. The gilt bronze with a fairly uneven patina; areas of grime deposits and oxidation throughout. One of the swan mounts is slightly loose. Each with holes to the back and base, likely for attaching to a fire fender.
