Titled "Rose and Driftwood", San Francisco, California, 1932. Simply double-matted and framed in a silver-tone frame, this black and white lithographic reproduction print of an Ansel Adams photograph (not an actual photograph) is a beautiful addition to traditional and modern design in any home or office. Having a sight image height of approximately 9-3/4" with width of 12-1/4", and framed height of approximately 16" with width of 20-1/4". Although he is best known for his landscapes, Ansel Adams was equally fascinated with the intimate details of nature. This close-up of a rose on driftwood is a perfect example of his desire to capture the secrets of light and shadow on everyday objects.
