Two-panel Portable Shrine, Tibetan China, rectangular, with a three-lobed top with a slightly pointed arch in the center, the two panels tied with a brass hinge, a hasp lock, and a ribbon string, each of the sides with a brass bracket handle, the panel's recessed interior painted with various deity figures surrounding a central deity of lama figure in one and in the other of bodhisattva, one panel with a Sanskrit character in gold on the exterior, each panel 13 1/4 x 9 1/8 in.
