Chinese, first half of 20th century. Porcelain ginger jar of typical rounded form with pierced wooden lid above opening. Exterior with lappet band at top with numerous circles with geometric, fruit, yin and yang, stylized waves, and other patterns in pastel pink, turquoise, blue, and lavender color palette on yellow ground. Underside with red "CHINA" stamp. Overall raised on carved wood base. Approximate jar (without stand) height 8.5", diameter of opening 3.5".
