[Why do you sleep, man? ], possibly by Boris Zvoryikin (1872-1930), poster, 70.5 x 54 cm (27 3/4 x 21 1/4 in.). The text on the upper right notes that the poem is by "Diez" and the illustration is by "B.Z.". Diez was the pseudonym of Wilheml Isacovich Granov, who worked for the short-lived Kiev satirical journal (see Masanoff, ). n.b.: All posters in this auction are original works and are sold in "as-is" condition.
