She stands next to an elaborate screen and holds a fan in one hand. Her husband, Charles De Vere, was a British magician who went on to establish a large and successful magic supply depot in Paris. Her daughter Ionia became a respected performer as well. 9 7/8 x 19 ". Scattered short closed tears; A-.
