Collection of two large round porcelain chargers each with hand painted Imari decoration comprising of one with two perched birds with long tail feathers in cherry tree with pink and gilt accented flowering blossoms on blue branches in a formal garden setting with stylized clouds above within border with cartouches with flowers in navy and red, character mark on bottom in red over glaze, diameter 18.25"; and a charger with alternating figural scenes of two young courtly children playing under cherry blossoms in trees and cranes or herons in a red and gilt accented environment, cartouches surrounding central circular tondo with flowers and vines, border with diaper patterned blue motif with floral and dragon accents, unmarked, diameter approximately 18.125".
