Edgar Degas (French, 1834 - 1917) unframed mixed media depicting three ballerinas at the barre and signed by the artist to the lower right hand corner. Measures approximately 12" in height by 15-7/8" in width. No certificate of authenticity accompanies this piece, however style & signature are representative of the artist's known works. Provenance: from the estate of a prominent European & Texas collector, known to not only to have collected quite an amazing assortment of notable art, but to have befriended a vast majority of the artists of whose work was acquired. In overall good condition.
