Pair of Chinese export porcelain plates with scalloped edge and hand decorated with four cartouches on rim with birds amid pink peony flower and prunus fruit surrounded by rose medallion style gilt, floral and arabesque pattern surrounding tondo with a lantern with flowers, and butterflies within blue bat border. Unmarked. Diameter approximately 7.1". Provenance: Estate of Mr. Charles Edward Brodnax "Ned" Hansell, Mimosa Hall, Atlanta, Georgia.
