the lid having bi-color enamel with geometric decoration, centered with a carved jade plaque. with weevil assay mark on lid Width 3 1/8 inches. Property from the Collection of Dr. and Mrs. Jack Durell, McLean, Virginia In overall good condition. Tarnish and polish remnants to recesses. Plaque appears to be jade, not examined out of setting. some light scratching and rubbing to gilt interior. Small nick on underside of thumbpiece and some scratching to underside of case. Jade plaque measures 7/8 x 1/2 inch.
