(Russian, 1848-1886) Capture of a Wild Kirghiz Horse bronze signed E. Lansere in Cyrillic with indistinct foundry mark Width 26 inches. Property from the Estate of Florence Teuscher, Chicago, Illinois In overall good, stable condition without dents or repairs. Appears complete except for lasso/rope between rider and wild horse. Having a fairly even patina throughout but with some minor areas of discoloration and light surface scratches consistent with age. Underside dirty with some surface rust near bolts.
