Chinese, 20th century. A blue and white decorated porcelain jar of cylindrical form having constricted ring foot and neck and a domical lid with acorn finial, the whole having white ground with hand painted underglaze blue phoenix birds amid scrolls and chrysanthemum blossoms. Underside with apocryphal Xuande reign mark (1426-1435).
