A. Brockie Stevenson (American, 1919-?), "Untitled (House on the Water)"-1950, watercolor on paper, signed and dated to lower right "Brockie 50". Figural landscape painting depicting a white house in a wooded grove near a still lake, with red truck and small wooden boats. Framed approximately 27.5" x 32.5". Unframed approximately 16.5" x 23". Note: This painting is accompanied with a photograph that the artist worked off of depicting a view of the water and home on the shore in Skowhegan, Maine where Stevenson resided in the early late 1940s and early 1950s while in residence at the Skowhegan Institute of Painting and Sculpture.
