Attributed to Meissen (German, founded 1710), first half 20th century. A group of nine blue and white porcelain cheese boards, including six in the Blue Onion Vine pattern and three with floral motifs, several with German phrases including "Guten Appetit," meaning "enjoy your meal" and "Wer Wurst Brodn. Schinken Der Wird Noch Alle Tage Satt," meaning "Who has sausage, bread, and ham, will be satisfied (full) every day." All unmarked. Approximate length (of largest) 11.175", width 7.425".
