A monumental and impressive oak wall mounted lobby clock, the galleried pediment centered with arched crest and acorn turned finials over a rectangular door front centered with glass face with raised corner fan spandrels opening to an 18 inch white painted metal dial with black Roman numerous and fancy spade hour hand and pointer minute hand with counterbalance and subsidiary seconds dial along with wood pendulum stick and brass covered bob. 30 day time only. Signed above the six o'clock hour "SETH THOMAS/USA". Approximate height 38.25", width 25.25", depth 7.75". Provenance: From the Estate of a prominent publisher and philanthropist, Greenwich, CT.
