An "Atlanta Crackers" baseball team Southern Association championship team ring dated 1956 presented to team pitcher Richard "Dick" Grabowski who played for Atlanta's home team in 1952 and 1955-58. The 10k yellow gold ring similar in form to a class ring having synthetic red sapphire to top mounted at center with a 0.10 carat modern round diamond (color: G-H, clarity: Si1), the sapphire bordered by cast text "ATLANTA CRACKERS SOUTHERN ASS'N". Engraved to interior "Dick Grabowski / Pit". Marked to interior "10K" and acid texted as 10ct yellow gold quality. Men's ring size 10. Approximate weight 10.9 grams. Note: The Atlanta Crackers won the 1956 season in the Southern Association with a 89-65 record. This ring is one of only 25 produced and is scarce.
