A Mission Collection Harvey Ellis quartersawn oak writing table, having a rectangular top with a removable upper cabinet, fitted with six drawers and two folding cabinet doors, opening to reveal interior storage compartments, with a rectangular apron inset with one long and two short drawers, with four plank legs on an H-stretcher, the sides marquetry inlaid with Art Nouveau patterns, together with a matching upholstered slat back desk chair. Branded oval shopmark (1985-2007) and Mission Medallion (1989-2007) to underside. Approximate height (of desk) 40.5", width 41.75", depth 23.75", height (chair) 43", width 16.75", seat depth 14", seat to floor 19.5".
