Heywood Wakefield (American, founded 1826), circa 1970s. A mid century modern birch "Cadence" dresser in the sable finish, having a rectangular case with three long double paneled drawers mounted with enameled brass pulls, on a conforming base with tapered legs. Interior drawers with original robin's egg blue bottoms. Branded manufacturer's mark to drawer interior, and "SABLE" stamped on reverse. Approximate height 32.5", width 38", depth 19.125".
